Day 36
“Doing well with blogging is not about
writing one key post, it is about performing day after day and helping a few
people at a time.”
~ Aaron Wall
Persistence. It seems like there are several things we touch
on over and over again. Networking and Persistence are two of the top ones.
Blogging brings those two things together. You have to be persistent to get the
most value at it, and it helps you to network with other people. Blogging is something that you do day after
day, year after year – and your following grows over time. It’s a great way to
network with both readers and other authors through guest posts and comments.
But it can’t be accomplished in a day. You have to keep at it, keep creating,
and keep coming back.
Marketing prompt:
If you don’t have a blog, think about starting one. If you do
have a blog, make sure that you are updating it regularly. It’s a good idea to
have some pre-written posts that you can post during busy seasons, or at least
a list of topic ideas that you could write about in a pinch. Spend today making
sure your blog is updated and that you have back up material.
