Day 34

“We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master.”
~ Ernest Hemingway

Hemingway was speaking of writing when he penned those words, but the same could be said of marketing if you think about it. Yes, there are master marketers – you might even be on the way to becoming one – but no one will ever know everything there is to know about marketing. It’s a world that continues to change – evolve.  Some of the best marketing tactics used today, didn’t even exist 5 years ago. So 5 years from now, book marketing could be a whole new ball game. That doesn’t mean that we should strive to be the best book marketer we can be, but it does mean that we need to be willing to continue learning and adapting to the changes in the industry.

Marketing prompt:

Make sure that you continually study the art of book marketing. Know what‘s changing, and how you can adapt.

Days to go: 331
