“There is no such thing in
anyone's life as an unimportant day."
~ Alexander Woollcott
With 365 days surrounding this
challenge, it can be easy to feel like some days aren’t very important, but the
truth is that every single one day in this challenge is important. Each day is
proof that you are willing to do what it takes to market your book. Yesterday
was day 21 of our challenge, and if you’ve been keeping up and believe what people
say about the number of days it takes to form a habit, then you’ve successfully
created a great book marketing habit.
Often times, the day after you take
a step of faith, or finish something big can seem like the hardest. You feel
accomplished and you want to hear what others say about it. Whether you’re
waiting to hear back from a perspective blog tour host, or you’ve just
published a new book and are waiting for the first reviews, it can seem like it
takes forever. It’s best to fill this time with other marketing actions so that
you aren’t sitting around doing nothing.
Marketing prompt:
Every day is important when it
comes to marketing your book. Make sure that you continue spending time each
and every day on marketing – even if it’s just 5 or 10 minutes performing your
routine marketing habits. Don’t forget to continue planning and working towards
your marketing campaign.
Days
to go: 343
