Afterglow

You know that moment when you finally finish a big project. Sure, there's always more to do, but something big is done, and you just sit and bask in the feeling of completion? Yeah, that's where I am. My second devotional book for teen girls was completed this week. I finished up the last of the devotions, and did all of the required formatting, then I sent it off to be looked over by the ministry founder and published. And it felt good!

We have already been discussing marketing ideas and that sort of thing, and I have at least 4 other big projects on my desk, but the afterglow of finishing one is huge. I even put away my clean clothes that have been sitting in a basket in my room for who knows how long. :)

What about you? What do you do when you finish up a big project and are basking in the afterglow? Do you take a break and celebrate? Or are you re-energized and dig into more work with a renewed since of accomplishment?

Me? I take a short break to celebrate. Do something that I have been putting off until after it was finished (like house cleaning) and then jump back in and get back to work on something else.

Oh, and just so you know:
