Just Don't Do It

Day 161

“Do you ever want to sacrifice tone and feel for what you know the search engines are looking for on a page? That answer is no.”
~ Heather Lloyd–Martin

While we want to use SEO for all of our blog posts, and we want our tweets to have hashtags, we can’t forget that our intended reader’s aren't robots – they’re people. Instead of writing for little bots, make sure that your first audience is real people – you know, the ones who will actually buy your book.  It doesn't matter how many spiders find your site if you can’t get real people to stay there.

Marketing prompt:

Write a blog post with a catchy title. Something controversial or a question people can’t refuse answering are great starting points.
