Using Words

Day 174

“It ain’t whatcha write, it’s the way atcha write it.”
~Jack Kerouac, WD

Writing is all about words – marketing is too. But’ it’s not so much about which words you use as it is how you use them. Are you using words to tell people to buy your book, or to let them know that your book exists and is just what they need? The desired result on your end is that they buy the book, but you’ll get much better results if you’re wording your marketing to focus on them instead of you and your book.

Marketing prompt:

Create a list on Amazon of books similar to yours – make sure to include your book. Any time one of those books is viewed on Amazon, it will show that it is on your list, and reader’s will be able to view the other books on your list if they so choose.

The main reason I write is to help other authors. I would love your feedback or suggestions for future posts or devotions. You can leave a public comment here, or use my contact form to send me a private message.
