Evaluation time

“The majority of men meet with failure because of their lack of persistence in creating new plans to take the place of those which fail.”
~Napoleon Hill

Not every marketing effort will succeed. The important part is to keep trying. It can be easy to get frustrated in the beginning of something new, but it only takes 21 days to build a new habit. At day #13 of our challenge, you’re over half way there. If you've missed a day or two, no big deal, just pick it back up and keep going – you’ll get there. Part of forming a new habit is learning the things that don’t work for you. Just keep at it until you have a plan that works for you.

Marketing prompt:

Evaluate your book marketing progress so far. Have you set aside a specific time every day to market your book, or are you more of a sporadic marketer? Are you marketing for 5 minutes every day, or 2 hours? Is what you’re doing working? Set a timer during your marketing time today to see how much time you’re actually spending. Make sure to spend the whole time on marketing activities.

Days to go: 352

My Evaluation:

With the computer problems I've had so far this year, I didn't get off to a great start. I have done something to market my book every day - even if it was just something little, and it really is paying off. "A Year of Book Marketing Part 1" is #1 in one of its categories on Amazon.com and has been there ever since I got Amazon to update my categories - they originally had it in something extremely irrelevant. And it was also a hot new release in one of its categories.
