A Year of Book Marketing - Day 3

“There's no such thing as 'no market'. Some books are just niche orientated that's all.”
~ Jo Linsdell

Do you know who the market for your book is? Have you taken the time to define your target audience? Every book has a target audience. Sure, there are some books that we just think everyone in the world should read, but there is always a specific group that would get the most out of it. Your niche and writing style will determine how big or small that group is. Someone out there wants to read your book – you just have to figure out who that is and how to get it to them.

Marketing prompt:

Define your target audience, and research them. Where do they hang out and what do they spend their money on?

Would You Like Some FREE Promotion For Your Book?

I help run a monthly newsletter that lets readers know about new, discounted, and free books.

If you'd like to have your book listed in our January newsletter, it goes out on Monday and we would need any book information by Saturday (the 5th).

It's free to list your book, and the only requirements are that it is PG-13 or less (no erotica), and is either new (published in the last 2 months or releasing this month) or on sale some time during the month of January.

If you want your book listed, please send an e-mail to affiliates@self-publishing-coach.com with the subject "Bookly" and include the following information:
Listing Type (new release, Freebie, on sale)
Dates (release date or dates it will be on sale or free)
Book Title
Author Name
Genre
Short Description
Normal Price
Sale Price (if applicable)
Link to purchase or download book
